On August 31, 2023, on the territory of the rural jamoats named after N. Rozik, Simiganj, Chuyangaron and Ramit of the city of Vahdat, the following work was completed to eliminate the consequences of a natural disaster, the CoES of Tajikistan reports .
– with the involvement of more than 500 residents of these villages, together with 40 military personnel of the military unit of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Tajikistan, through collective work, work was carried out and completed to clean water pipes, the territory of residential buildings, inter-settlement roads, streets and household plots.
The Committee for Emergency Situations and Civil Defense under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, together with other ministries and departments of the country, allocated 8 units of engineering equipment to carry out work to eliminate the consequences of the disaster. As a result of the work done, culverts and 1 road bridge in the village of Simiganj were cleared of dirt and slurry.
Led by the Deputy Chairman of the CoES, Major General Isozoda S., daily meetings of the Headquarters for liquidation of the consequences of a natural disaster are held in the villages of the city of Vakhdatu
Varzob district
On August 31, 2023, in the village of Gusgarfi, Varzob-Kalaa rural jamoat, Varzob district, the following work was completed in order to eliminate the consequences of the natural disaster:
– the servicemen of the military unit of the Committee cleared the surroundings of houses and auxiliary structures from the mud and stone mass, which suffered as a result of the natural disaster.
With the involvement of 1 unit of engineering equipment in the specified village, 150-200 meters of the river were cleared of dirt and stones. Currently, work is ongoing.
Rudaki district
On August 31, 2023, the following works were completed on the territory of Rokhati Choryakkoron, Chorteppa, Navobod and Sarikishti rural jamoats of Rudaki district:
– in order to provide assistance to affected families, with the involvement of more than 350 residents of these villages, the territories of 27 residential buildings, 3 buildings from secondary educational institutions, local roads, streets, mudflows were cleared.
With the involvement of 4 units of engineering equipment, the road in the village of Dara in the rural jamoat of Rohati, the road Dushanbe-Hissar and the inter-settlement roads of the rural jamoat Sarikishti and Navobod in the Rudaki district were cleared of dirt.
