The Russian military is conducting an offensive in the zone of a special military operation (NVO) in Ukraine with the support of rocket artillery of the Central Military District (TsVO), the Russian Defense Ministry reported.
Crews of BM-21 Grad multiple launch rocket systems of the Central Military District support the offensive of motorized rifle formations, striking at fortified areas, equipment and manpower of the armed forces of Ukraine.
According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the coordinates for delivering strikes to the military are transmitted by drone operators and intelligence.
On March 12, the official representative of the RF Ministry of Defense, Igor Konashenkov, reported on the active actions of the “Center” group of troops, as well as the active actions of the units of the “Southern” group with the support of artillery. He said that the artillery of the “West” group struck at the armed forces of Ukraine in the Kupyansk direction, the artillery of the “Vostok” group – in the South Donetsk and Zaporozhye directions.
