A new plant for the production of gunpowder for ammunition will be built in Romania, Romanian Economy Minister Florin Spataru said on Romanian television.
There was a similar plant in Romania, but in 2004 it was closed.
“Now we will create a larger production capacity for both NATO and non-NATO ammunition,” Spataru said.
Romania, he said, has already entered into relevant partnership agreements with American and South Korean companies.
