Top Things to Do in Dubai

Due to its gorgeous architecture, opulent shopping, diverse culinary scene, and variety of sights and activities, Dubai is a well-liked tourist destination.

Navigating such a metropolis can be a little daunting though, and that’s where we come in.

We’ve compiled a list of our favorite things to do in Dubai to help make up your mind.

Burj Khalifa

The tallest building in the world is the first stop on our list of things to do in Dubai. Its height is equivalent to two Empire State buildings, and we think it’s a necessity on every Dubai bucket list.

You can also see the world’s largest water show that takes place right outside the building. During New Year’s, you can watch a one-of-a-kind water show and see the Burj light up.

Go Shopping At Dubai Mall

Dubai is a shopper’s paradise. It is home to the largest mall in the world, Dubai Mall, which is roughly the size of 200 soccer pitches.

This mall boasts over 200 restaurants and has a shop for almost every brand that you can think of. The mall itself is connected to the Burj Khalifa so you can make an entire day out of going to the mall.

Buggy Racing

While in Dubai, we recommend making the most out of the desert area and going on an adventure. There are several ways to traverse the sandy dunes of Dubai. We believe the most exhilarating is easily buggy racing.

You and a few friends can hop into a dune buggy for a friendly race. Racers follow a guide in another buggy to reach the destination.

Jet Ski And Boat Trips

Out of the sand and into the water, jet skiing in Dubai exposes you to beautiful skylines and exciting waves. Each session lasts around one hour, but you can book longer sessions if that’s not enough.

Maybe you want to slow things down but still experience the cool waters with a boat trip. There are also many lakes and rivers in the inner sections of Dubai where you can enjoy a calm boat trip.

The Palm

The Palm Islands are three man-made islands off the coast of Dubai. Jumeirah is the most popular and one of our favorites.

Jumeirah is shaped like a palm tree that stretches nearly 5 kilometers into the Arabian Gulf. The palm is so big that it can be seen from space.

Atlantis sits at the front of the palm and is a place filled with attractions. You can make a whole day out of visiting the water park or visiting the aquarium.

Finally, if you’re an adrenaline junkie, you can go skydiving and see the palms from a bird’s eye view.

Food, Glorious Food

Food tends to be the first thing that you’re exposed to when traveling. Trust us when we say that Dubai’s got you covered.

Deira is one of our favorite foodie areas. The neighborhood houses classic sandstone buildings and wonderful restaurants with unique local dishes to try.

We highly recommend taking a trip down the Dubai Spice Souk to smell and taste the various spices the vendors have to offer.

The Miracle Garden

This beautiful garden is the final stop on our list of things to do in Dubai. The garden is home to over 150 million flowers and is the perfect place for flower lovers. The entrance has two shrub stallions standing as high as the building.

This garden has everything. There’s a lifesize replica of the emirates plane made of flowers and a giant castle with a princess letting down her flowery hair.

The Miracle Garden is also home to the largest butterfly sanctuary, where you can see thousands of these beautiful creatures.

Don’t Miss Out on Dubai

This list serves as a guide If you want to head to Dubai but don’t know what to do first. We know you’ll be spoiled for choice when it comes to attractions, food, and entertainment.

Dubai is the city of dreams. Make your dreams come true.
