Eight Kuwaiti entrepreneurs presented their innovative digital projects and apps in the first edition of Africa’s GITEX which concluded in Morocco on Friday. “Our participation was meant to show the Kuwaiti innovation, search for opportunities for expansion and introduce the Kuwaiti projects to investors,” Director of the Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Giftedness and Creativity Nada Al-Daihani told KUNA. He noted that Kuwaiti entrepreneurs’ presence in such events allows them to get acquainted with the latest global innovations and trends as well as to learn about the latest developments in the world of modern technology.
Yousef Al-Hussaini, one of the participating Kuwaiti entrepreneurs and owner of the e-learning platform Baims told KUNA that his app, which offers digital educational content, aims to make the learning tutorials and courses available to students anytime and anywhere. He explained that he works in partnership with universities, schools, professors and engineers to develop the teaching and learning experience digitally by investing in modern technology. He pointed out that his participation in the GITEX Africa exhibition was an opportunity to interact with a plethora of the regional entrepreneurs and see different innovations in this field.
Developer of the Motery application Abdullah Al-Ateeqi told KUNA that his app brings together everything related to cars in one place. He stated that his participation in the GITEX Africa exhibition allowed him to communicate with other entrepreneurs and interested people from all over the world, which would contribute to the development of his project and its regional expansion. Rawan Al-Atair, developer of the octopus AI app which uses artificial intelligence to carry out customer services on social media, told KUNA that “the idea of the app is to develop a unique AI technology specialized in customer service for all sectors”.
