Russian President Vladimir Putin began a meeting with the leaders of seven African countries participating in the mission to resolve the Ukraine . Communication is organized in the format of a working lunch. It is reported by TASS .
This is the second such meeting this summer. The first took place on June 17 at the Konstantinovsky Palace. Then Putin said that Russia had never refused negotiations on Ukraine, and showed the representatives of African countries the initialed Istanbul treaty with Ukraine.
At the same time, the Russian leader said that Moscow appreciates the interest of African friends in finding ways to resolve the situation in Ukraine. He also expressed hope for new prospects for cooperation.
